Re: BRING BACK JOHN SERGEANT!!!!!
If you read the Yahoo poll on who the public supported to win Strictly. Then John Segeant was well ahead of anyone else, also there was a huge internet attempt to get people to vote for him, he did say he was seriuosly woried that he could win, and that would have been a joke too far which is why he decided to drop out. I think he has done the best thing as it happens, I suspect his continuing presence was a danger to the future of the programme, and it also shows how effective an internet campaign can be.

Re: BRING BACK JOHN SERGEANT!!!!!
Tess always says `vote for your favourite` - doesnt mean vote for best dancer! I heard/read that somewhere today and it`s right.
Does it mean we can`t vote for the crappest dancer even if he/she is our favourite....

In the first few series the voting lines were always open, so ou could vote on Monday for he contest to be held he following Saturday, BEFORE anyone had danced...

Re: BRING BACK JOHN SERGEANT!!!!!
Others probably have too, but one of 'em was me, #38ish, Strictly thread.... and of course you're right, however it's a bit like subliminal messages. Say 'vote for your favourite' & a lot people will ignore the dance capabilities & do just that. Say 'vote for who you think is the best dancer' & they may ignore their favourite & do just that. What is the right & wrong of all of this? As many have said, it is a light entertainment show, in a light entertainment Saturday night slot, however it's billed as being about ability to learn & perform ballroom, latin & the occasional show dances. We'll see what the Beeb do next year. (quote Mikelincs: In the first few series the voting lines were always open, so ou could vote on Monday for he contest to be held he following Saturday, BEFORE anyone had danced...) Then no doubt, when the voting palaver starts all over again, find there isn't a right or wrong
