Two were arrested near Irun and were apparently on their way out of Spain.
The other one was arrested in La Linea and explosives were found in the flat..
A bit too close for comfort.

Good work by the security people, but I fear there are a lot more nasty types hidden away in various cities. I met a couple of Islamic converts in Spain once, and it's frightening the zeal and things they believe unconditionally. I suppose it's the same thing that you'd find with Jehovah's witnesses, or the Scientology lot, but they don't want to blow you up.

Three active al Qaeda members found living in La Linea and found in possession of explosives. Their intended target must be pretty obvious and to smuggle a bomb into Gibraltar from Spain means practically no border controls at all (on the way in).
Frightening.
Frightening.

that would be a "spectacular" worthy of note as it is still British territory.
does that mean they cannot manage something for the Olympics after all ?
God I hope they don't

Might be worth contacting the arresting authorities, so that the suspects can be questioned about this also. You might even get the sticker back!
