Default Boiler Serving

Hi all, can anybody recommend a company that can service gas boilers in our area ? Keeps popping up in my mind that, for safety, I would like to have ours checked. I seem to recall the gas company doing a check but not sure exactly what that covered.

Thank you Mel

If you are on Esuri the Gas company visit was a Safety inspection but I am pretty sure it was not a service.

If your community use ADA you could have a word with them. I have never had a problem with the contractors they use

If you are in contact with Sam or Benny I'm sure they had details of a boiler man.

Why not cut out the middle man and contact the brand's technical department directly. Call EDESA technical department 902 10 50 10 who deal with the boilers (FAGOR) and the ovens (ASPES). .. and probably other brands...
They will send their technician and you will get a proper receipt when you pay.
Used them several times for both and always had good service.
ps. no commercial interest, just a recommendation

Well guys I was over in CE for last week and thankfully some lovely sunshine but found that I had a leak at the boiler when I turned on the hot water tap. Luckily I had a good plumbers phone number at hand and sorted the problem promptly. I had bought a few spanners to tighten a joint where the water inlet from the wall surface connects to the boiler proper , but that didn't resolve the issue. Thankfully Francesco at
+34 629 105 998 did a callout and sorted the leak and adjusted the water pressure also.
Seemingly the constant stop/ start of water into the boiler coupled with variances in water pressure have caused join rupture , leaking joints and even leaks in the pipe work within the walls themselves.
I have no trade interest but very thankful that I had a number at hand and a decently priced plumber too. So get that boiler serviced, you would most likely not blink at getting it do at home apart from the price it would cost !

Hi Lloyd,

That's handy to know, thanks for the info. My boiler has been a little bit temperamental in the past.

Does Francesco speak English as my Spanish isn't too great when it comes to talking about boilers!

Thanks

Graham

His English is small but ample enough for the job. He previously did my gas conversion to bottles.
You can pay the bill with or with out a receipt , your choice. His callout and repair was 40.

Once again why dont we all post in the free beer or similar,
any workmen or women we have used for various jobs
that we would be willing to recommend to others, but have
no connection to.

After all sometimes most mishaps happen, when least expected
and you dont have the time to look about and ask other people?,
at least its start and point of reference?.

There is also always the 'Useful Information' thread in the Ayamonte Club section.
