Bilingual Schooling Nerja (Spanish system)

Bilingual Schooling Nerja (Spanish system)
My wife I have been discussing the schooling issue in a little more detail of late and she has the following question.
I am hoping you can help us today. We are a family moving to Spain with our 3 kids. We plan to move in about 14 months and are currently taking Spanish lessons as a family. Our main concern is ensuring our children are settled and happy at school.
After much research the internet is giving me conflicting answers about education in Spain.
We would like to live in Nerja. Can you tell me if any schools in and around Nerja offer a bilingual approach to teaching? Do the majority of Spanish state schools now offer bilingual teaching? Some websites are saying there are 700 schools in Spain offering this programme. Is this correct?
We plan to stay in Spain long term. Therefore, we would like to intergrate into the the Spanish school system.
Any up to date information about what schools are bilingual would be most appreciated. I have seen the list on the British council Schools website. Is this up to date?

they do teach bilingually here - but Castellano & Valenciano!

I know you say that you've given this a lot of thought but why choose bilingual? We decided that as we have chosen to live in Spain (and made that decision for our children) then they should learn Spanish as their 1st language and that English would be 'picked up' from us talking at home.
Unfortunately, our children have had to learn Valenciano as well (not quite sure what use this will be unless they decide to live and work in this region of Spain).
I would say, choose a good state school where they will get a good Spanish education and a firm grasp of English as a second language. This can then be supplemented at home if necessary.
