We are after a couple of basic adult bikes to use for getting around Esuri. Does anyone have a bike they don't need any more please? Reasonable price paid for suitable bikes. Thanks.

Hi Sue/Barry
You could try Bicilandia, it is situated on the roundabout by Punta De Moral next to the Isla Canela office.
Sorry I don't have any contact details for them
We bought our bikes from there ,my wife's being second hand (about 80 euros I think)
Jur owned it then but it wouldn't surprise me if the new owners had some old stock to get rid off
Best

There is a bicycle shop located opposite the bus station on the right hand side as u drive drive into Ayamonte from Essuri. Worth having a look if your locally based.

Did you find Bikes yet?
Have a couple of suggestions if you haven't found any. There is another shop in Ayamonte heading out of town towards Canella. It is on the junction of Calle Rio Tinto and Calle Punta Umbria. Turn right at the roundabout just past the Court buildings. He sometimes has some second hand. For new bikes there is also a big Sports Shop in the Shopping Centre at Tavira which has a good range for reasonable prices.
If you are planning to use the Camino Rural as a Cycle Track then don't buy the cheaper Mountain Bikes from Carrefour etc. I bought what I thought was a decent robust bike from Decathlon only to buckle a wheel descending the first hill near the back of Las Encinas.
Finally there is 1 bike sitting unused in our Portal storage cupboard. Not been used since I can remember and tyres always flat. I have asked the Administrators of our Bloque to send an email to see if any one in the Bloque still owns it or whether it belongs to a previous tenant/owner now departed.

Many thanks for all the information. We are still dithering! Wondering whether we would in fact actually use the bikes if we bought any! (Getting lazy in our old age
We will certainly consider all the options.
Thanks once again.

) and I think we actually used them a couple of times and then sold them to some more 'energetic' friends. It is actually easier to just hire them for us as apart from becoming lazy storage was another big problem, regards Bryony
