There's a bike scene, but not the same as the UK. At least, where we are in Catalunya. There's quite a few rallies but a LOT of them specify 'Harley and Indian only' which is crap. And, so far, we haven't found the rallies that involve big fields of bikers in tents – a lot of these things seem to take place next to hotels! Softies.

In general, there are more runs... ie: meet up for breakfast, ride to the pyrenees, have lunch, ride back. But as they meet up at about 7 or 8 am, we don't tend to join those!

But, all saying, it could be different in different areas of Spain!

Scotlass, just a word of advice, please do NOT use all caps in your posts, this is classed as SHOUTING and could well upset some people.

Hi we are heavily into bikes, hence the move to Spain, we met a fantastic guy called Lol whilst in Castalla who runs his own bike club, he has extensive knowledge of local runs, meets and all the racing going on in Spain. Try his website its very informative www.tourandtrack.com. He was extremely helpful to us and has e-mailed us since we returned to Uk.

Hi guys,

Does anybody know how we stand with regards to towing a trailer with our 1500cc Goldwing? I know that 5 years ago it was a definite no-no as far as the Spanish Police were concerned and we sold our trailer and tow-bar etc.. before we moved out here, but I believe the law has changed since then. We have friends coming out at the end of August on their bike and they want to know if they can tow their trailer or not. Any ideas?
