Default Big debate in Iraqi Kurdistan

Who's better? Barca or Real?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-21607705

Noisy celebrations in the middle of the night, fights, even stabbings - this is the scene in one northern Iraqi city, after a match between Spanish football giants Barcelona and Real Madrid. Spain is thousands of miles away, but when the teams play - as they will on Saturday - passions in Erbil run very high.

I couldn't possibly say, but f you´re a culé round here you have to keep a low profile.

When the merengues won the other night I could hear the cheers from the bar 2km away ... then the car horns as they did three laps of the village.

Another big game, another defeat for Barcelona. Billed by some as the world's best team, have they in reality become Big Game Bottlers?

Well, they are definitely going through a bad patch but when you are at the top, the only way is down. It was very sad to see Adriano faking a dive though, that ¡s the sort of thing we expect from Cristiano!

RM had their bad patch recently and have now bounced back. So will Barça I'm sure.

It's generally accepted and rarely disputed that the Best Team is the one that ends the season on top of the league with more points than anyone else.

Barca have a 13 point cushion over Real and 11 over Athletico.

It would take almost total melt-down for them not to end up on top, with only 12 games to go,......... but there again stranger things have happened.
