Click HERE then click on the tour, this will tell you all about the program and tell you how to use it.
Just run it in the default setting ie as it is when you download it and it will do everthing itself almost.

On the download screen was a list of things including whether or not you wanted yahoo included, you needed to untick a box.
If you dont want it ......
To uninstall Yahoo! Toolbar:
1. Click the Windows Start button in the lower left of your screen.
2. Select Control Panel.
3. Click Add/Remove Programs.
4. Scroll through the list of programs to find Yahoo! Toolbar, select it, and click Remove.

When you run the 'Issues' part of CCleaner there is an option to back up the registry before doing so to enable you to revert to a previous copy of the registry if there is a problem.

Under 'Cleaner' you can check or uncheck various options.

I have used CCleaner for some considerable time and it has never caused a problem.

Once you have done a scan you can uncheck any items you do not want removed. If you are not feeling confident perhaps you could arrange for someone more computer literate to check the scan results before removing them.
