Beggars
Most beggars these days appear to be foreign. Nice to see that we are overtaking the home team on at least one issue!

I had a taste of that a couple of days ago, when I dared to suggest that locals were angry that a foreigner caused 3 police to drown. But yes there are a lot of "imported" beggars........ |
Re: Beggars
You ever seen Brits begging? I did once and told them in no uncertain terms where to go......**** off back to the UK.

I also know an old Spanish guy in Galicia, he threads beads on a bit of elastic and give them to the people who give him money. More dignity than just expecting money with nothing in return. I think the OP means, the ones who sit down with their hand out. |
Re: Beggars
How do you know where the beggars come from? The ones round here all look the same, scruffy and unshaven, with tri-lingual messages on their cardboard. I don't know if it's the Spanish law, but they don't speak.

Re: Beggars
OK, so being a boring oldie I will bring it back onto topic. The only beggars that I have seen in this area have been gippos outside of Lidls and drunks outside of the Mercadona at Cullera but in the past year I have not seen the gippos begging at all.
