Default The beach with warmest sea temperature near Gibraltar?

Hi All,
As you can see from the name thread - I am interesting which is the beach without wind and with the warmest water near to Gib.
Or at least in 100km area.

Any inputs/thoughts are welcome!

Thanks

You'd probably get a better answer by googling for a weather channel which shows sea temperatures rather than rely on the subjective opinions of a few expats

I already did my homework, but probably there are some nice, little beaches, which are protected from the wind and still sunny..
Also according to the map it is around ~17-18 C everywhere in the region..

I cannot help but do know that sea temperatures along the costa del sol are lower than further north eg costa blanca. It's something to do with cold water from the Atlantic being forced towards the surface and the beach.
I would have thought there must be some beaches that are not affected by this so researching historic sea temperatures at various locations may help.

I seem to recollect it's the deeper (and colder) Atlantic water that causes the reduced temperatures. These temperatures are in shallower waters and to some extent prove the point about the costa del sol water being cooler as a result.

Wasn't there a similar thread on this some time ago?
