Cool! Well that I helped is cool. I gues your Nexus thing is a phone? Please don´t go buying the same one as me. It´s okay but not very mobile, in the sense it has to be plugged in for most of it´s life!

I think actually its the Nexus 4 which is not compatible as when I go on the play store without using the link the Op provided a search does not find the app at all.
I'm not a big fan of spoofing Google as I always forget I am doing it and get involved in Googles 'someone from another location tried etc' verifing BS for my gmail

'For me it told me it told me it was not available in my country (Spain!) well it also said my Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 were not compatible
Do you have a Spanish mobile contract or a UK one?'
100% Spanish on Movistar Fusion service.

As far as I know, you cannot access the UK Google Playstore from a Spanish IP address.
If you use a VPN it works fine.
BBC iPlayer (TV) can only be downloaded from the UK and I think the same applies to all the other UK specific apps. It's the same problem with IOS but once you have managed to set up a UK Apple ID you can access the UK Apple App store without a VPN.
Once you have managed to download the apps you do need a VPN or SmartDNS to actually use them, apart from BBC Radio iPlayer which works anywhere.

So,
Pop in Airplane 'data off' mode
Pop Wifi on.

Actually, have a glance through the thread. There's just one person posted who hasnt managed to download this Android version (with a Nexus phone, and I dont think he used Wifi). The others in the thread have successfully downloaded it from Spain without a VPN Or SmartDns. So something else is going on I think. It might be because they used the UK Link I provided. Not sure. But people have posted that they've downloaded it ok, and that its working fine. So no need to pay for a SmartDns in this instance I dont think. All free (for some anyway) Either way its worth a try unless you have a Nexus.

I have spoofed the Google play store for some apps before but like I mentioned, I always forget and then gmail gives me grief for a while. As I said I'll try next time I'm in the UK
