Today in Carrefour in La Linea we saw a pack of 6 Walkers mince pies for 9.50 Euros

I would never pay that much for mince pies, it is daylight robbery. Will make my own using the mincemeat that my OH made for me.

If they were giving them away free I would refuse them, mince pies are horrible!

It is strange how when living in Spain you really enjoy stuff and then when in the UK never eat them. We used to eat a pork pie coming back from Gibraltar, look forward to British sausages, pork with herbs/apple etc. Steak n' ale pies. Never bother now I am back in the UK

You are right! In our case it is a still-warm sausage roll or maybe a scotch egg scoffed while negotiating the La Linea roundabouts with one hand on the wheel. Hardly ever eat either in the UK.
