People are living in a new country which is a totally different world, experience a new way of life etc.....yet all they are concerned about is what TV channels they can get.

I'd hazard a guess that TV isn't the real reason, it's just a rationalisation they make when they're actually just missing "home". Similarly, I don't beleive the original reasons cited for why people leave the UK.

Can't wait to get back :) As for the tv reception, we haven't watched tv in over a year and don't care, Spain just isn't for us.

Just back home for now, near to mum as she is 80 and is thrilled that we are going to be living near to her. Who knows what the future may bring though.

I always liked the idea of the Greek island, stunning scenery, crystal blue waters, good lively places and warm friendly locals............I just hate the Greeeks!

I agree Greece is lovely but I'm having enough trouble with the Spanish language - how on Earth would I manage with Greek

I lived out there for a while and I found them to be sooo infuriatingly traditional it did my head in!

Far worse than the Spanish could ever be!

I think that's why I love Mallorca so much, it is very similar to Greece just without the Greeks....
