Not sure

I wouldn't mind the odd night out!

Just getting feelers for anyone offering these services.
Cheers

The only problem is the amount of "red tape" that the children would have to crawl through before they got through the door.

What are you after exactly? A licensed creche or a babysitter for the occasional night off?

hi,
what are the ages of your children?
There are various schemes available during July and August, the town hall would be able to advise.
The local nurseries close for the whole of August though.
Do you have neighbours who may share baby sitting?

Have been to town hall, youngest one is 17months and she is starting nursery in September. So was wondering if there any other private ones for July & August

I think you will find it difficult for July and August.

what about inviting a family member over on condition of looking after little one. I'm sure someone would jump at chance of free holiday.

You usually find families with little ones meet around the pools in summer or in the Laguna square of an evening.

Try posting a thread asking to meet up with families with children similar ages. I know someone who did that once on the Portuguese forum and made new friends.

Long shot I know, but you could always post a request on Gumtree, I have Saffa and Aussie mates who travel around Europe doing just this kind of thing... and many are registered.........
