It's a cut throat business, with the strikes it's had it was always going to struggle. I bet BA get the blame for the 4,500 job losses in Spain. Meanwhile I see BA is considering flights to Sevilla and Thomson is planning new routes next year to Jerez and AlmerÃa.http://www.hosteltur.com/115100_tui-...z-almeria.html

BA are wanting to buy up Vueling too...they already own 45% of it. Probably they buy for the slots.

Maybe by buying Vueling they can close down the horribly inneficient Iberia and any staff they re employ would be at Vueling? Got to do something to keep tabs on Mick.
