Default Autonomo - Working hours question

Hi there
I am self employed and legally set-up as "autonomo" paying my taxes.
I know that in the UK if you are self-employed, you can choose to work as many or as few hours as you want to. Is this the same in Spain?
I thought I read somewhere that unless you were self-employed running your own hotel/bar/shop/restaurant where you can work for as many hours as you like as long as you have the correct licences, other forms of "autonomo" had to work to a maximum number of hours. I have looked all through various things on Google and can't find it now so maybe I dreamed it!

I have to admit, that's the first I heard of it. I've been autonomo since 2006 and have never been advised of limits on hours by my Asesoria.

I think it would be very difficult to monitor... especially for those of us that work from home.

neither have I

I simply write invoices for work done, without specifying hours worked

my gestor has never mentioned hours at all
