Funny you should say that!! Saw Australian wine I am almost sure in our local Consum in Albir (just outside Benidorm) this morning whilst shopping.

Have you a large Carrefour nearby. They usually stock a small selection of wines from other countries. I know the one in Torrevieja used to.

Yes the problem with Carrefour (there's one in Gandia) and other supermarkets is that they have a strong bias towards local wines (fair enough!) and a poor selection of wines from other countries. Ideally I'd like to find a specialist shop that does have a good range.
