Hi all

I need to pay for a duplicate NIE certificate at a bank in Spain. I land in Spain on a Saturday afternoon, so assume all banks will be closed.

The payment form has a bar code and I am told that some atm's have bar code readers.

Has anyone used the bar code reader to make a payment for a duplicate nie certificate? Is this method of payment acceptable at the police station?
