Default Aqua Fit in Ayamonte

Hello All

I have found out that there are Aqua Fit classes at the pool down near Isla Canela.. does any one attend them who can tell me if they are easy to follow for a non Spanish speaking person ( at the moment) and what the pool is like generally, e.g. are there open swim type sessions..

Thanks......Sandra

The classes look like lots of FUN and there are several English speaking participants who appear to manage very well,,,, the instructor shows demonstrations and people just follow along. You do have to be a member to join the aqua classes, we asked recently for a friend and they told us this. Whereas with the gym classes you can join on a daily basis. The aqua classes are on Monday 20.05. Tuesday 10.30 and 21.05. Wednesday 20.05 Thursday 10.00 and 21.05. Friday 09.30 and 19.05... don't quote me on these times, you know in Spain time is something that comes and goes on a flexible basis.... Membership is worked out now on a dry(gym) or wet(pool) basis. It is around 25e for either one and an additional 11e if you join both. Again, please double check these prices. Also they are offering discounts if you join with friends, a sliding scale for one, two or more friends... I expect you would have to join for a specified time, but you can ask. And will probably have to pay by dd. Hope this helps,,, enjoy ...

Missed the end of your question, yes the pool is open to anyone to swim,,,and there are lessons available. The times have recently changed, very annoying.. to those who used to swim at 8am,,,, or take a quiet lunch time dip.. Now the pool opens at 09.30am until 13.00 (or 13.30,,?) and 17.00 until 22.00 (ish)... and only Mon to Fri,, The membership is worth it if you are planning to go a few times a week or to take the classes.. but if you just want to have a swim you can buy a card with 10swims, it used to be 22e where you get one free. Not sure of the most recent price, it may still be 22e but it wont be much more. Go into the pool and have a look, Carlos on the desk is very helpful and manages a few words of English if pushed!... Good luck...

Thank you AliceB... I was pleased to find that the Aqua fit existed as I have become a bit addicted to it at home here in the UK. I will most certainly pop in there at the end of the month when we come over... .
