Seems like a good idea - but, is it? Any user experiences out there?

Do you need Bizum? Over 25 banks in Spain offer their clients the chance to use Bizum to make and receive instant payments, and all for free. All you need to do is activate the service on the banking app on your mobile.

- All you need is a phone number to make a payment, you don't need the recipient's bank account number
- And the same goes for receiving payments: no one needs to know your bank account details
- It's easy to make micropayments (for example, sharing the cost of a meal between friends)
- Quick and easy donations to charity
- Not having to worry about carrying cash

Yes, I've been using it for a while. Very simple for small payments. Fast and free.

What is the limit?

With my bank it's 1000€ per operation but I only use it to pay a tutor on a weekly basis so it's not so much. She told me that most of her clients use it to pay her.

Yes I have been using it - think it's super convenient, basically for sharing payments between friends.
