Annual Travel Insurance
We live permanently in Spain and we need to take out a worldwide travel insurance policy. I have checked on UK based websites and they seem to say that you must be a UK resident to take out there cover.
Can anyone recommend a company in Spain that offers comparable cover at a similar cost to those in the UK. I did get a quote from a company advertising in the RTN but it was double the UK price and didn't give anywhere near the same cover.
Thanks

We have used citybank.co.uk.
Worldwide is more expensive and is around£170+ for annual for a couple.

Thanks for the information, I will check out the links and let you know how I get on.
Just as an example, I got a quote from the broker who does our house and car insurance. The total cost for 2 adults was, wait for it, €906. I wouldnt mind but the cover was rubbish, €1800 Med. €600 Cancel, €600 Bag.

Was it a spanish company? never heard of benefits as low as that. Ours has £10 million Medical (which you need for worldwide) £5000 pp. for cancellation.

Yes it was a Spanish insurance company but I didnt bother to make a note of the company name as it was just to expensive to even consider.
