An android box is like an android smartphone, but on your TV; one of it's features being an IPTV box. It plays movies, TV, videos, music, photos, surfs the web, email, weather, even Skype and VoIP. You download the apps you want and go. They are also generally very inexpensive.

Depending on the IPTV box, they are often single-purpose gadgets tied to a specific provider. They tend to be expensive and not very flexible, but are usually "tuned" to a specific provider - providing simpler and arguably potentially fewer points of failure or error. Many will require a subscription to the provider they are linked to.

In any case, the single most important factor in any IPTV system is the quality and reliability of your internet. Anyone who sells you a box and/or subscription is not responsible for your internet performance, so it's critical to first make sure your internet can support the sustained high bandwidths and continuous reliability that IPTV demands, regardless of which box you use.

An Android box is an IPTV box.

IPTV is the protocol used to stream TV. An Android box can handle this, so can many other boxes and computers.

Android Box (google) and apple tv (apple) are operating systems which run a media player so that you can use this with your TV.

I think you are referring to media centre on google to stream. (android) and IPTV is where you connect to say sky (sky now) and they offer you their own services (so restricted).

I have been using an android box for 4 years without any issues. I provide them as part of my business.

There's mobile networks. Movistar, Vodafone, etc. Not great for video, and expensive. Is there a WIMAX provider in your area?

Failing that, a regular antenna and a TV? Many films and documentaries broadcast on Spanish TV have 2nd audio in "original language", often English.
