Default Algae removal from swimming pool

After being away for a couple of weeks I returned to find that the sun had stripped all the chlorine from the pool resulting in lovely algae green water I have managed to clear the water and scrubbed the grout but there is still algae on the grout which is refusing to budge

Does anyone have any tips on how to get rid of it

The chlorine will get rid of it eventually - but you must make sure that the pH is correct as well.

You can also get some blue fluid that helps remove it faster, but as snikpoh says the chlorine will remove it.
