Hello Pat,
How are you? Isn't the Tarramay section you refer to at Almunecar? Do you know what the plans are for the section Almunecar - Salobrena - Motril? Thanks, Carol I am very well thank you, enjoying the diving and off again tomorrow. yes it is the stratch from La Herradurra to Taramay they are back working on. Re the Salobrena stratch, dont hold out much hope for that yet.:frown: |
Re: Albunol By pass
Thanks for the reply, Pat.
Just had a look at the old 2005 map to see the stretches you've mentioned. The dotted lines on the map appear to be by passes for towns like (as mentioned previously) La Herradura, Almunecar, Castell de Ferro, La Rabita, and Adra. Unlike the longer stretch further northeast at Cuevas del Almanzora to Cartagena. Does anyone know if this longer stretch has been completed? Carol |

Re the Salobrena stratch, dont hold out much hope for that yet.:frown: The last viaduct at La Herradura now has one carriageway complete and work on the other side will start next week. The pillars are all complete and it should take about 5 weeks to complete the other carriageway. It only takes one week to finish a section between the pillars laying concrete in situ with a huge moveable shuttering system. |
Re: Albunol By pass
Thanks for the info Fred I thought you would know being in the vicinity. Sounds like it is going well.
