Advice re Dental costs Majorca
My son and daughter-in-law reside and work in majorca. DIL, has just found out she needs some quite extensive dental work, the dentist there has said it would cost around 3k.
They both have residencia status, the D.I.L is on a work contract (nomina) and pays social seguridad.
Can someone please advise as to whether there is state assistance regarding these medical costs and if so what they are.
Many thanks in anticipation, great website btw.

No dental work is covered by social security in Spain, it is all private.

Re: Advice re Dental costs Majorca
Thanks for the very quick response. I have a mate who has just returned from living in Majorca, he says that the state picks up around 70% of the costs and the patient contributes the remainder, is this not the case then?
