Driving down to Mar Menor from UK next week and have got the French bit sorted very little in the way of tolls to pay but having a bit of difficulty with the A7. Where exactly are the toll sections? Is there a way of finding out between which junctions you have to pay tolls? I know the part near Torrievieja but are there any others and is it worth avoiding them?

It depends which route you take.
I think there is a toll as you get to Valencia.
The only other tolls are just prior to Los Montesinos and Pilar de la Horada (i think).

You mean the AP7 E15?
Its tolls all the way down. Theres a small strip around Valencia when it stops for a while, and also at Barlcelona around the city, but apart from that it's tolls all the way down
I think it ends around Torrevieja
Go on to Viamichelin and it will give you the costs

Its not worth avoiding them for the sake of about 20€! There is a toll as you cross over the border then the next one is around barcelona and then as said valencia.
We drove in July and quite honestly for the time it saved us the tolls which came to as above, about 20€ for the whole length of Spain was quite worth it.

Parets €3.95
Martorell: € 3.50
El Vendrell: € 2.75 EUR
Tarragona: € 2.55 EUR
Sagunto: Toll: €21.35 EUR
Then Past Alicante which is about €14

The A7 Valencia to Alicante is free is it not, hence the A7 not AP7 which hugs the coast & collects tourist taxes.
Obviously no sea views but foc.

The motorway that runs down the coast is not free until you get past Alicante on the way to Murcia. If I dont take the motorway (usually to the airport) I take the alternative N332 but it does take half an hour longer.

All of the tolls from Malaga south increase A LOT in Summer, not sure beyond that (North)
