Just got back from the 3 day Gibraltar trip that is advertised by a local company. If you are thinking of booking this trip you will be travelling on the coach for a total of 20 hours over the 3 days but you are only allowed 4 1/2 hours in Gibraltar!
If you need some information about the dire hotel you will be staying in you can PM me and I'll give you a run down of the rip off prices at the hotel and in the tourist areas of Gib.
Moan over

Thanks for the feedback because I was seriously thinking about doing this one, I thought that the company had a good reputation so I am disappointed.

I have been there many times as it is a relatively short trip for us. 4 1/2 hours is long enough and 3 hours of that is in Morrisons and M&S etc..
It really isn't worth the trip unless you have a serious historical interest.
There are far more interesting places in Spain to visit on a 3 day trip.

hello
if they only give you 4 1/2 hours in Gib.
where are you going the other time??
when we go I do not want to spend it in M&S nor Morrisons.

2 hours travelling from Torremolinos to Gibraltar, arriving at 11 am, 4 1/2 hours free time in Gibraltar then another 2 hours travelling back to Torremolinos!
We spent our time in Gib walking around the square at the start of Main Street, having a meal there then looking at the shops and sights up and around Main Street. By that time we had to make our way back to the pickup point.
We didn't go in either M & S or Morrisons.

Spain must be devoid of "PROPER" food because thousands of expats flood from miles around to strip Morrisons shelves bare.

I wanted to go just to see the place and not to shop as I can buy all that I enjoy in my locality. It is too far for me to drive even with a few stops so I thought that it would be great to go on this sort of trip but this information has totally put me off.

I suggest you look for alternative travel companies or make your own plans
I would happily entertain you at this end at a cost of 1 beer
