I quite liked the "how to p!ss off" various nationalities, accessible through the same link.
I thought this Spanish one was quite accurate,
"Try to get a word in edgewise.
Anyone who has ever been in a group of Spaniards knows that there’s no such thing as waiting for someone else to finish speaking before speaking themselves. If there are four Spaniards in a group, there are four people talking. And, as they talk, the volume increases as they each try to make themselves heard above the others. Actually, this doesn’t really piss Spaniards off, that nobody is listening. It’s just the way it is. It will piss you off a lot more than them."

Obviously things aren't uniform across the south. Just like Spain - I've found places in Asturian towns that serve up the free tapas, but across the border in Cantabria it's quite rare.

Re: 20 moments you'll experience in Spain
I have been to a number of Spanish meetings where serious matters are discussed and votes taken.
Mobile phones go off (even on the top table) and they are answered I AM IN A MEETING etc. Loads of side discussions. The best thing though is the late arrivals (about 50% arrive after the meeting has started - late) and they all have side chats with their mates or sometimes even folk on the top table.
Far cry from a company I worked for where the door was locked at the specified meeting start time!!

We had lived here less than a year when I climbed up to our castle with seven people who have since become my friends. One of them spotted me discretely waving to my husband who was on our roof terrace, she told me that I would never fit in if I continued in this manner and she then started shouting to him and made me join in. As we walked around the castle walls everytime he came into view we all shouted and on the final occasion she told me that I was almost as good as they were but must practice more. I am still the quiet one but I join in with everything that I can and they accept me as I am.

I've never come across free tapas in Asturias and I've spent a lot of time here!
Actually Asturias doesnt really have a tapas culture. People go and share raciones instead
At bars it is more common that the waiter will come round every now and then with a tray of nibbles e.g. a pincho of tortilla or a gamba rebozada, and you can help yourself for free
