Those of you with kids in school here (state), at what age do the kids make their 1st Holy Communion, and in what class? In Ireland they make it around 7/8, but someone said to me it is much later here! My daughter is in the last year of infantil and will be starting 1st primaria in september.

As far as I know the kids here seem to be around 10 or 11 years old but someone else will surely be able to tell you properly.

Very shortly..... two of my 10yo's best friends' 1st communion parties are May 12 so the 9/10 year olds are imminent.
