black coal substance to deter mosquitoes?
hi
i used to live in pretoria when i was 12 years old
my auntie used to give out some small lumps of black coal like stuff to chew( i think she used to buy it by the ounce) which was odd tasting but not unpleasant she used to say it made the blood taste sour so the mosquitoes wouldnt bite
im trying to remember the name of this stuff as i would like to use it again
does anyone know what it is called? and if i can get it in the uk or even somewhere i can get it shipped over from south africa??
