Hi,

I am planning to setup a busness in Singapore. I need help in the following areas.

1) Anybody knows the procedure and which visa is the best Visa to get, whether Entrepass or Employment pass or any other if you think?

2) This may sound silly, but any recommendation on which business will do best in Singapore with small of investment?

Hi, I'm a bit out of touch but when we moved our (small) business to Singapore in 2005 we did Entrepass but which actually boils down to an employment pass Q1. We needed to present a business plan and bullxxxx report in order to get approval. I don't know if it's still the same now.

Best bet to look at MOM website... Ministry of Manpower.

Actually do you think its worth going through singapore local agency or can I do it myself? Also I don't have any existing buniness in UK. I am planning to start directly in Singpaore first so I can cover far east Asia such as Malaysia, Combodia, Vietnam and Loas.

I'm probably not qualified to answer. I left in 2007 and things chop and change so quickly in Singapore. We did on our own. Prob if I did all over again I might get advice from an agent.

Definitely look at MOM website and ask them some questions. They are very approachable and will help you. All the best.
