How difficult have you found it to get good staff in Singapore?
What are the normal hours office staff/team work in Singapore? Most of my contacts work for themselves so its hard to compare.
I will also be looking for an office to accomodate my team of around 20 over coming months.

Hello there!
I think it all depends on what sector we are talking about? I work in an Investment Bank in Technology and we struggle to find enough people locally to meet all our requirements. It's also harder for a smaller business, because there are strict quotas on how many people you can hiring on Employment Passes (EP) vs. PRs & Singapore Citizens.
I would say that office working hours are generally 9am - 6pm, but again will vary depending on whether you business is local focused or not? We have people who work a shifted schedule so that they have greater overlap with London.
Cheers B.B

Did not expect to have problems with Quotas? Expected to try and source lower level jobs locally and bring higher level across from Australia.
Those hours appear pretty consistent with what I was expecting.

We have been contemplating a move to Asia (Singapore or Malaysia) over the last year but yet to take the plunge! I am a teacher and have some contacts to get a job 'somewhere' at an international school but my husband is a programmer (.net....mobile phone, server team). He was also a sys admin for a few years for an air base in Canada and has all the Microsoft qualifications. He may work from home on some projects but if that didn't work out, I wondered how difficult it would be for him to get work and what the work culture is like out there.
Thanks in advance.
