Hi Andy, I'm afraid this little corner of BE is very quiet these days, but you should find some relatively young expats and locals on www.singaporeexpats.com.

I'm no longer in Sg and haven't been on that site for a year or so, but I know they used to have WNDC - Wed Night Drinking Club - as well as doing cinema and sports stuff.

I know a couple of other sites but they are mainly old fogeys like myself, but if you want them do answer here (you won't be able to PM yet, I don't think) and I will give you them.

Oh and the LUFC supporters club drinks at the Dubliner. You may not support Leeds but I promise you will meet some great Yorkshire folk there (I'm from Leeds).

Yep. Met a young lady last week who is doing a PhD and is over here for the Summer. Not sure of her age but assume she's in her 20s. She's originally from Notts but I think currently resident in Cardiff and staying in one of the black & whites off Portsdown Road.

Also my son (nearly 21) will be here for a few weeks in August.
