Re: BBC Article - UK's new visa rules 'causing anguish' for families
I know, seen it, makes cheery reading. I'll be caught as I'm British but my wife is Guinean and expecting my child. Currently we in Mali where I work and I was hoping she would be able to go UK to have child, but that appears to be not the case now. Is frustrating as I've paid plenty into UK tax system in the past and now that I want some assistance I will be denied due to past goverments allowing UK to be abused. Never blame immigrants, if you wee told you could go to UK and be given everything for free then of course you would go. Sadly though the action taken by the goverment now means that honest hardworking people who do pay their way are now going to suffer.
