I forgot to apply for my pr card renewal at the start of the year - Does this mean I am screwed for heading down to Cuba in a couple of weeks or is there workarounds that can be done

You can search for a Canadian embassy in Cuba so that you can get a travel document.

If they don't have a physical location to go to you can usually mail it.

If this is the case I would start the paperwork ASAP.

Also just to note as a British citizen the border people wont refuse you entry but the airline could refuse you entry on the return flight.

Thanks - Had a look at that sticky and it seems to contradict what is in the link within the sticky
