If I can crash the party I will post here, and make my other thread redundant no doubt (which I'm sure it was the minute I posted it because in my over exuberance I didn't do a search
). Here is my own timeline, albeit a short one but hey ho . . .
3/9/10 - Mailed N400 to Phoenix
3/11/10 - N400 arrived in Phoeniz and delivered
Once the check is cashed and the confirmation of receipt is sent out I'll add those too. Told you it was short

Hello,
I'd like to join you as well- currently on the last leg of my journey:
N-400 (based on 5 years of Permanent Residence, disclosed 1 traffic ticket (speeding), did not submit - and was not asked for - any tax returns to prove good moral character)
11/2/09 mailed application to Lewisville TX Lockbox
11/3/09 received by USCIS
11/9/09 received NOA
12/2/09 Biometrics
1/13/10 Interview done
3/8/10 received oath letter
3/29/10 OATH CEREMONY!!!!
(If all goes well, time frame just matches the national average of 5 months)
Good luck on your journey!
Rebecca

Going for the shortest timeline record.
3/12/10 Three separated N400's mailed to Phoenix in the same envelope. (5 year residencies).

I was naturalized in December, the whole thing took about 4 months from Filing to Oath.
We filed EXACTLY at 90 days prior to completion of the 5 years of residency, and we were called to interview before the full time had elapsed, so we were asked to return a week later to interview when out 5 years had elapsed.
All in all was very pleasant experience.
If you want to see a bunch of processing times I suggest you take a peek at

Good Luck

I'm adding my husband's timeline since he's not on this forum.
Mailed application FEB 6 (to Texas)
Check cashed FEB 19
NOA FEB 24
Fingerprints scheduled (Metairie, Louisiana-abt 4 hr drive) 10 AM/MAR 19
He can't go on that date as huge work project is due so he is going to go
10 AM/MAR 24 instead.

NOA received around 02/15/10
After that nothing.... I am a tiny bit worried why I haven't received an invitation for finger printing...
