Top 10 phobias of BEs...interesting !
The top 10 phobias among BEs who have posted their fears on The Bored are:
No. 1 - ARACHNOPHOBIA (fear of spiders):
Madam Medusa, cindyabs, emmals, Littlejimmy, jcapulet, KarnalEcho, Geordie George, Toontje, syllk, woodsey, and Jellybean.
No. 2 - ACROPHOBIA (fear of heights):
Miss Eck, Littlejimmy, beebee, Blue Cat, Rumble Tumble, CasG. Leslie66, and Lord Lionheart.
No. 3 - COULROPHOBIA (fear of clowns):
Deb, Call me AL, Poppy Girl, Sheff_Sparky, dreamcatcher, Eskimo, and glittababe.
No. 4 - CLAUSTROPHOBIA (fear of confined spaces):
why, KarnalEcho, Lord Lionheart, syllk, snowbunny, and peacelover.
No. 5 - KATSARIDAPHOBIA (fear of cockroaches):
Madam Medusa, Weirdstone, Seasider, DIMO8 and CasG.
No. 6 - MEDUSOPHOBIA (fear of jellyfish):

They may not be actual phobias but simply expressed fears about objects or situations that cause anxiety in some BEs.
So fear of spiders is the No. 1 phobia especially amongst BE women...I don't really understand that one....how can a woman take boiling hot wax, pour it onto her upper thigh, rip the hair out by the root, and still be afraid of a spider !

Another adult BE women, fainted when a clown came running up to her as she was getting in her car...keeled over, bumped her head and went to hospital !

Actually, those BE posters that brought up mostly related to a frightening incident when they were young. For example, a young girl was scared when a clown jumped out of a drain at a carnival !
Another adult BE women, fainted when a clown came running up to her as she was getting in her car...keeled over, bumped her head and went to hospital !

The most unusual one is from Jammy Dodger (and paddingtongreen) - he has a fear of cotton wool .. no phobia name for that one though !
