Default Facts on Gin from islamic point of view

they were created before human (before Adam the first human)

they are created from the fire (unlike Adam who was created from the sand)

they lived on earth and was given the chance to rule the earth as humans are ruling the earth now.

When God Created humans he created us far better than them and at an upper level.

Gin normaly are afraid of humans and they see us on top of them.

they have wars between them they fight each other as human are doing.

some Gins are muslims some are jewish some are christains ..ect..

some of them live in the mountains and deserts.. some live in the oceans.

can they harm a human?

yes they can.

how can a man become a magician ???

by approaching on of the Gin leaders (shaikh or king) and by worshiping him when he do this... the shaikh or king of Gin will assign some of his own followers to serve the magician ...and because they are forced to do that... sometimes they even harm the magician .. (his family or friends or him self)

the move services the magician give to the Gin Leader the more help he will get from Gin ....

so the power of the Magician depends on the power of the Gin.

what can a magician do???

he can fool the vision of people.

example:

a man went to india ... he sees an indian old man throwing a rope to sky and then the rope stoped (hanged between the sky and the earth without moving) and then a small child climbed the rope so he took a picture of the child who was climbing the rope to find later on that the picture is displaying a rope on the ground and a child next to it.

he can make hamr people.

example he can send some of the Gin to harm otheres and or get into their bodies (which is one difficult moment for a ginn to do so and it is done at specific conditions)

they can carry him on the sky and fly him from a place to another.

they can tell him about things that happend to people who are far away from him.

ect...

Gin is a spirit, but not the kind you're thinking of.

Or maybe you've been on the gin. Hard to tell.

In English, we either translate what you are calling "Gin" as genie, or as djinn. It means the same as the beings that are described in the Quaran as being made from fire.

I have heard that, whilst the genies are all around us, only certain people are able to see them.

Also that sometimes a genie can take human form - you can recognize them because their eyes do not reflect.
