Hi,
I work as an external auditor for a big 4 company in Russia for 3 years, and during these years I've been passing my ACCA exams. I believe that this summer they will be all behind and I will be able to apply for a full membership. After that me and my OH plan to move to Australia.
So here is my question: is it necessary to have professional experience after becoming an ACCA member (for the purposes of migration qualification assessment)? Or these 3 years that I worked full-time and studied will count?
And if i decide to become an australian CA, will at least some of my current experience count to meet their practical experience requirement?
Thanks in advance for your advice!

Actually Jeremy we are finding pre-qualification experience is being accepted ... the quality of the supporting work experience documentation is key.
Best regards.

Alan, Jeremy,
Thanks for your replies!
I believe that big 4 experience iss good enough, perhaps I could find out how one should be documented. Maybe some references are needed?
Yes, I do have Bachelor (4 years) and Specialist (between bachelor and masters - 5 years) university degrees from a good Russian university and also a "License" degree (I think an analogue to Bachelor) from a french university.
But I doubt they will accept such degrees (or am I wrong and they will not count for skill assessment but do for migration application purposes???).
Thanks for your replies!

The post qualification experience is required for Specific Work Experience i.e to get more points or is it necessary to fulfill the basic work experience requirement that is of 12 months as well? Will pre qualification experience suffice the 'recent work experience' basic requirement?
