Are you assuming the summer was FFFF's Kent summer or the rest of the country's?

You are allowed to use them for half an hour twice a week on certain days depending on your house number.

People have short memories.....Brisbane may be out of the woods for now but people should continue to conserve water as much as they can.

Not having a total hosepipe ban doesn't necessarily mean there is no problem - this is the city that, under Level 6 water restrictions, and with its dams at close to 15% STILL allowed people to top up their swimming pools with precious town water. Very smart indeed.

I'm nowhere near Kent. Other posters who enjoyed the summer are though.

based on Australian distances between places everywhere in the UK is near Kent.

Sorry. Living in the big open spaces of Aus I forgot about the provincial mentality of the English counties. Most have their own police force

As well as the bypass there's obviously paranoia. Have you seen anyone who can help?
