People have short memories.....Brisbane may be out of the woods for now but people should continue to conserve water as much as they can.

Not having a total hosepipe ban doesn't necessarily mean there is no problem - this is the city that, under Level 6 water restrictions, and with its dams at close to 15% STILL allowed people to top up their swimming pools with precious town water. Very smart indeed.

I'm nowhere near Kent. Other posters who enjoyed the summer are though.

Have they moved Essex since I left? I can't fathom why it's nowhere near Kent as it used to be joined to it by a bridge and a couple of tunnels

Yes, it is, but who said i am anywhere near the bridge? Essex is a large county

based on Australian distances between places everywhere in the UK is near Kent.

Sorry. Living in the big open spaces of Aus I forgot about the provincial mentality of the English counties. Most have their own police force
