Hello all,

Who fancies getting together for an afternoon/evening?

We could focus it around an upcoming British sporting event, or perhaps a local event of interest? Or just pick an arbitrary date and go from there...

I guess the best thing to do would be if you are interested, reply to this mail with dates which would be good for you, or ideas on what we could do. How about we let this go for a fortnight, and then collate the responses?

Personally speaking any date is good for me, and any location in the triangle.

sounds good to me Unfortunately as far as which days work best, I'm pretty limited. A Sundee hehe would be ideal and I'm going to go w/the flow as far as location (I realise majority will win)

I don't know my schedule much in advance but evenings are generally better for me. I favor a location that is in Durham or Orange counties.

I am game to meet up. Evenings and weekends (better)

My husband and I might be interested--we live in East Raleigh so we might not make it to every event in Durham etc. but would love to try sometime. Evenings/weekends are best for us, too.

where is Orange County? Somewhere a little, ok a bit more south (Smithfield? ) would be great.

Chapel Hill is the epicenter of Orange County. You live in Smithfield? Eek! That's not exactly close to Raleigh.

no not Smithfield, but I do live a good hour from Raleigh. Isn't Durham further then that?

Er, you need to look at a map. Orange County is furthest west. In the middle is Durham County and then Wake is to the right of Durham. Smithfield is SE of Raleigh, about 90 minutes drive away.

so where is somewhere best for everyone? preferably a equal drive for all if not the majority of us.
