Just want to see if many people are looking at coming then I can let the pub know. IF anyone has any ideas feel free to let me know. If people want to use this date and have the meet in Hobart no problem just let me know of a venue to have a meet in Hobart.

Me and Hubby and our 16 week old son live in Howrah and have been in Tassie 2.5 years now.
We would really like to meet up with some expats particularly people with children as we find it a bit hard keeping friends now we have a kid !!
please let me know if you plan a meet up as would love to get together and compare the things we love and hate about Tassie (and us girls can commiserate over the lack of decent shops !!

I always keep an eye on these sites.. I'm always looking to meet new people from UK. I have just moved to Kingston and work in Hobart.. How do you find Tas? Have you settled in?

i love Tassie but I miss the decent shops and good chinese takeway ( and of course friends and family !!!)
We bought a house in Howrah but it took me ages to feel settled- now we have our baby I guess I do feel like this is home- can't imagine bringing him up in England- Tas is just too good for kids !!
