Default Is this a good teaching package?

Hi....

Is this a good teaching package for a school in sharjah.
7,000 AED, accomodation, utility bills paid, annual flights and medical paid for?

If not... can someone please give me some suggestions of what I should be looking for in a teaching package, thanks!

Most Dubai (Emirates) salaries are quoted as monthly figures.

It's not great but would certainly be better than being on the dole in the UK

Oh yes, much better than being on the dole, but I'm earning almost £2,000 a month after tax here so I guess 7,000 AED which is less than £1,000 a month doesnt really do justice.

14k I think is more the sort of figure teachers are getting, pending on qualifications etc. I assume you have applied for the positions that were available at VESS? Try GEMS Education in Dubai.

haha yes i am an experience PA but i have actually been looking at reception jobs etc.

did not want to do office work at all when i move over to Dubai but unfortunately that is where the money is!

I would have loved to do some sort of teaching, even being an assistant! i think i may do the office work for a year or 2 then trying something completely different!

So where did you get your mind reading degree... would love to do that for a living!

haha, thanks.

How did u know which school I was talking about?

I applied to the GEMS online database, do I wait for them to get in touch if there is a suitable position?
