Default Saskatchewan

Hi myself and my partner are planning on immigrating to CAnada, and would like to know more about Saskatchewan, in particular Saskatoon and Regina the differences if there is any. I dont hear much about it. Are they still in need for immigration in the province if so then why are they? What is cost of living like, such as renting 1 bedroom apartments, good parts and bad parts of area. Am just very curious because were planning on going out in november so went to a couple of travel agencies, and they seam to miss out saskatchewan completley, there just a gap between alberta and manitoba. Thanks for reading

Plenty of threads about SK, so if you want to do a quick search you'll find some info.

I seem to recall you were looking at Alberta first, then had decided on Ontario, so what's made you think of SK?

Of the two cities I much prefer Saskatoon. I have family there and it's a very nice, good place to set down roots. Saskatchewan has shown great strides in it's ecoNomy over the past few years and is now showing an increase in its population due to immigration and the returning of many who left in the leaner years. Good housing/schools/facilities. A reasonably sized airport with flights to most areas of Canada. The only problem I can envisage for you is the winters. They can be brutal but Saskatooners just get out and on with it.

WE have lived in Toon now for nearly 4 years and love it, and yes the winters are long and brutal but you do just carry on with life and get on with it.
