I posted on this forum months ago and still need help finding an lmo in Estevan Sask. I know there are alot because almost every fast food restaraunt in town are employed 75% by Filipino people. Yet my girlfriend and i who have the advantage of walking around in person can't get 1 open one for her i don't get it.
These other people on twp have never even been to Canada let alone Estevan i need help finding the loophole like them, What's the secret??? We've put in the time its been forever and still nothing. Do i have to go out and find a recruiter? And of course none of the ppl here on twp will help you because they want to keep their own options open. Im getting pretty bitter about this born and raised in Estevan my girlfriend who i've been with almost 2 years can't even freakin work here and other people that have nothing here come in no problem.
Lmos in Estevan! I know they are here theres no need to move we just need help. Anyone?

I know its not easy but you have to keep looking. I was fortunate enough to get my wife a twp for here in Calgary but it was no easy feat. The people you see working behind the counters of McDonalds are there because they've been recruited or because they applied to a recruiter to come here.
You best bet is to have your girlfriend go for a specific work permit ie restaurant. Immigration won't give you an open work permit because she's been here for 2 years, if that was the case my wife, who holds a MSc wouldn't have had to do prep work in a kitchen while our PR application was being processed.
Sorry if this isn't the greatest of news but it's the way we had to do it.

Bitter? Yes, you do come over that way. It doesnt help garner sympathy around here, where many people have waited WAY more than two years for canadian paperwork.
Why not just do the spousal sponsorship if you have been living together two years? I dont get it. You dont need a LMO, you need to apply in the right category and be patient while the wheels of beurocracy creak around. If you had done that a year ago she would most likely have PR by now.

I believe it was two days ago actually, your remarks about the native population generated some strong feelings. Attitude has a lot to do with success and failure, perhaps review that first. It may give you some insight.
