Default Christmas Crrackers

I've just searched through previous posts to try and find an answer, couldn't see anything, so thought I would ask instead - please don't shout at me if this has been asked a million times before...

This will be our first US Christmas - where can I get Christmas Crackers in America - do shops sell them here? People seem to refer to them in other posts. If not, am I allowed to bring them back with me? (I shall be t'other side o' pond in a couple of weeks time) I seem to recall that airlines get a bit agitated at carrying them...being (essentially) an explosive device.

The British Shop in Houston have them, but they are mega bucks...

In previous years we've picked them up at World Market, but our nearest one closed down recently. I saw them somewhere else last year and thought "huh - have to remember that" .... and of course, now I can't

I saw them in the World Market last week, and compared to a few years ago the selection is now quite wide!!! They were at the front of the store so I guess they are taking off in popularity!!

Don't buy the ones from Crate & Barrel. We got them last year and they had no bangs in them. We e-mailed their customer services to complain but they didn't even bother responding. Twunts.

I am feeling decidedly festive having just watched all of the "Vicar of Dibley" including all the Christmas specials....

We watched them on instant download from Netflix, think it if the first time I have watched them all - funny

We have at least one thread about Christmas Crackers and Advent Calendars every year.

Costco...sell the best IMO (luxury ones) but you have to buy them as soon as you see them because they sell out quickly..

sorry to be so predictable - I bet you members of long duration put bets on how early this query will be every year thanks for the info, anyway, I'll keep my eyes peeled for any sightings and snap 'em up quickly.

No problem...besides it's good to have new info every year. I came here in 1996...I couldn't find crackers or advent calendars anywhere. Now they seem to be more and more available with every passing year.
