From 1 January 2009, the Australian Government will pay the TAFE fees for Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas of Children’s Services courses, delivered by a TAFE institute or other Government training provider.
This fee waiver will apply to existing child care workers looking to upgrade their qualifications as well as prospective new workers to the industry.
Anyone wishing to become a diploma or advanced diploma qualified child care worker is strongly encouraged to apply.

It's great.. we had gone in and paid upfront then got a call last week saying that some of the fees would be re-imbursed.

I would be extremely suprised if they paid the fees for international students, especially as for those course it doesn't even leave you with qualifications enough to apply for a skilled visa, so they would be chucking their money away.
