One thing that is often funny (to me anyway), is the type of house that they show to families on a limited budget, if they will have $300k for a house they show them $500k properties to rub in that "this is what you could afford if you weren't so poor!"
The latest series is putting a date up when stating valuations though so at least you can tell how out of date they are.

Those deadly downunder shows about all the deadly creatures, the snakes, spiders ,sharks, crocs, jellyfish and so on, what those shows don't tell you is that all the dangerous animals in OZ only kill around 10 people a year, the same number of people die in OZ from lightning strikes or falling trees. They should then do a deadly downunder show about the dangers of being hit by falling trees downunder because you are more likely to be killed that way. The real deadly thing down under is cars which kill 1,600 people per year compared to the wildlife killing 10.

They pic the homes that can be viewed & filmed on the same day so sometimes budget is wrong, but funny part is they dont tell the agent that you are just window shopping, i thought he was just being a nice chap, after we stopped filming he took me & my family out for dinner as i had said this is the one when asked for my thoughts on the 3 homes. He went for it & got a contract out

[QUOTE=ftm2009;7307778]As a newbie I just discovered this series and watched a couple of shows while having a few weeks off work, Daytime ****e I like to call it when the wife watches it
If you think that's "daytime ****e" then just wait til you get over here and see the quality of Oz tv - it's 24 hour a day ****e

Slightly off topic here but does your husband fit carpets? Would be very interested to chat as we have been looking into starting a carpet business in QLD (it is what we do here in South Africa),If however it was a joke then please ignore my post.
