Length: Nine-hole course, 18 different tees. Men: 5582m (par 70). Women: 5233 (par 72).
Accessibility: Social play available seven days a week outside competition times. Clubhouse facilities.
Overview: A feature of Canungra, sited on the army base, is a suspension bridge about 20m above a creek that has to be crossed twice during the nine holes...

Pick of the bunch: The par four sixth of 346m that runs alongside the Coomera River is a pretty hole with danger all down the left.
There's always beer and wine instead...

To supplement the weekend on the 6th and 7th of March at
http://www.binnaburralodge.com.au/staying/camping.php
the new 4 x 4 weekend with a twist is now well under way planned for Sunday 19th of April HORSE RIDING.
For the women http://www.slickershorseriding.com/special_events.htm
Horse Riding probably the Winery Ride
A chance to enjoy not one but two favourite pastimes.
Start your day on our picturesque cattle property atop the glorious Mt.Mee Range (approx 50 km north from the center of Brisbane). Ride through some of Queenslands most scenic riding country, taking in spectacular views of Moreton Bay and the Glass House mountains, on your way to the Oceanview Estates winery. At the same time you can indulge in a light lunch, a glass of wine, and coffee (think that may be extra to the cheese and wine price)
Feeling suitably refreshed it is back on your horse for the return trip by a slightly shorter but no less scenic route. Here your purchases from the winery will be waiting for you.
Cost for this spectacular day's outing is $85.00.
This covers the hire of a horse for the day and the cheese platter to accompany the wine tasting...
List so far:
Me
Linda
Sarah
Pauline
Joss
Jackie
? Jenine
If you wish, we can arrange an overnight stay for you on our cattle property, either in the main house or in our dormitory style accommodation. Accommodation charges are $80.00 for a double room and $50.00 for single in the main house and $20.00 for the dormitory style accommodation.
For the men the 4 x 4 golf carts, I assume to be posted on the golf thread...
