Oops, 'er in doors just reminded me, that the rice & shredded cabbage also came with a large serving of black bean sauce....to pour over the rice !
Just finished my morning cornflakes, and stopped the "meat sweat" from last night

Is it the same name in Sao Bras ? If so, where is it ? Or what is the Sao Bras name ? I would love to try it.

Thanks 'Hog'.
As an aside, no intention to de-rail MEXICAN thread, would be happy if anyone can report that it is a new quality place to eat....

Went there tonight. Food very good - tequila even better!
Prices were a tad high for Portugal, but for a change of scenery it was fine.
2 x covers, 2 x mains, 2 large jugs margaritas + lots of tequila shots = 50 Euros.

It appears that this restaurant has now closed, we tried another restaurant on Sat. night that has been open a couple of months, its called Jaimes and the food and service was really good, it is around the corner from Pizza Venizia across from Bar Sitio.

Sorry to hear that it has closed. I was looking forward to trying it out.
What is the cuisine at Jaimes? Any dish you would recommend?
Cheers

Jamies Cocina is fabulous. Look at the reviews on Trip Advisor website. The owner really cares about good service, fresh produce and fantastic food.
